DeVon Howald started with two hives of honeybees in 1991 to pollinate his small orchard that he and his family planted. DeVon's interest for the bees became a hobby, which got a little out of control. He and his family are now running 3,000 hives. As the business began just by selling honey and then honeybees, it has now grown into a new phase, pollination. By the year of 2005 the business started to use the bees mainly pollination instead of honey production. DeVon along with his family run the entire operation, from beekeeping, honey production, pollination to package the final product.
